Video - Curt Smiling - Then and Now & Corbin's Prayer

Corbin’s Prayer                                                                                                      March 20, 2012
I feel sad like a tornado has wiped out my heart. Like a lion has eaten my soul. Like no one besides my family understands me. And that everyone that I'm not close to just doesn't get the pain that I feel.

Like it says in Acts 22:1-2 "My God my God why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning? O God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, and I am not silent."

Please help me, my dad has always been good to you and so has the rest of my family. I know you have the power and make everything happen on purpose. But please Lord help me and my family, at least if not healing, give us strength and courage through this Lord. Look into my heart and memories and see all the love and kindness my family and I share together and see that it will be very difficult without him. Please Lord help him and me and my family.

Amen

Ramiro has been following Curt's story on the blog. He is a co-worker of our neighbor Larry. On Sunday he ran the LA Marathon with his son Anthony (17), in honor of Curt. He came by yesterday to meet Curt and tell him that he has been an inspiration and a true Hero. Curt was touched so much by Ramiro and his words and the fact that he ran 26.2 miles thinking of Curt. Ramiro had these cool shirts made for Curt and Larry. Thank you Ramiro & Anthony, you are great people!

Wow! Thank you for sharing this video. Corbin, we unite with you in your prayers. Never lose hope nor your faith. This video shows us that God is with you and is answering your prayers. He is giving you the strength you need to keep going. Even though you are in the middle of a storm, you and your family are smiling through it. It is not easy, but you are getting through it and the storm shall pass. May God continue to guide you and strengthen you. Your family continues to bring God closer to many of us and teach us the true meaning of a life filled with Love. Thank you!
